Army Duck Experience Tour includes Kuranda Scenic Railway, Army Duck Rainforest Tour, Tropical Fruit Orchard and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

    • Army Duck Rainforest Tour with Tropical Fruit Orchard - Travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water as your guide explains different species of flora and fauna.
  • 2 hours free time in Kuranda Village.
  • Skyrail Rainforest Cableway - Glide over the canopy of pristine World Heritage Rainforest with stops at Barron Falls and Red Peak Stations before returning to Cairns.

Itinerary

Day 1 : 1 Day Kuranda Army Duck Experience incl. Skyrail and Scenic Rail
8:50am - Travel Kuranda Scenic Railway. Wind through tunnels and over bridges on this magnificent journey, passing Stoney Creek and Barron Falls. 10:25am - Arrive Kuranda Railway Station. Free time in Kuranda Village until 12:45 12:45 Transfer to Rainforestation Nature Park 1:00pm - Arrive at Rainforestation Nature Park for the Army Duck Rainforest Tour. 2:00pm Depart Rainforestation for your transfer into Kuranda Village. Free time in Kuranda Village until 3:30 3:30pm Be at Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Kuranda Terminal for 3:45pm boarding. 5:00pm Pickup from Caravonica Skyrail Terminal and transfer you to your accommodation.
Meals :None

Pickups / Departures

Departs: Daily from 7.30am 
Returns: Approx. 5:30pm

Includes return coach transfers from accommodation. CAIRNS ACCOMMODATIONS ONLY.

All Kuranda Tours do not operate on Christmas Day

Tours which include Skyrail will not be operating due to scheduled maintenance by Skyrail. All tours not including Skyrail will continue to operate as normal.

Tours which include Kuranda Scenic Railway will not be operating due to scheduled maintenance by Kuranda Scenic Rail. All tours not including Kuranda Scenic Rail will continue to operate as normal.

Monday 26th - Friday 30th (inclusive)

Tours which include Kuranda Scenic Railway will not be operating due to scheduled maintenance by Kuranda Scenic Rail. All tours not including Kuranda Scenic Rail will continue to operate as normal.

June 2025
Wednesday 11th - Friday 13th (inclusive) and Wednesday 19th - Friday 21st (inclusive)
