PADI Advanced Course on an Overnight OceanQuest Liveaboard

Details

Once you have completed your PADI Open Water Course the next step is to select the PADI Advanced Open Water Program. The good news is that there are no formal classroom sessions with this PADI course. The only academic work required is to read the relevant chapters in the PADI Adventures in Diving Manual and complete the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter. You will need a minimum of two days and one night to complete your PADI Advanced Open Water Course but you can also stretch the fun out on a multi-night liveaboard trip. 
 

Itinerary

Day 1 : Four Dives
07:30 City Accommodation pick-up // Transfer to boat, departs 08:30 // 90 minute transfer to outer reef // First fun dive // Lunch // Second fun dive // 14:30 transfer to liveaboard vessel // After check in first training dive - usually Peak Performance Buoyancy or PPB // Dive theory with instructor // Dinner // Second training dive - night dive // Debriefs before bed
Meals :Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 2 : Three Dives
Sunrise training dive - deep dive// Breakfast // Training dive - navigation // Final training dive - elective dive // Check-out // Lunch // 14:30 transfer to SeaQuest // 17:00 dropped back at city accomodation

Pickups / Departures

  • Transfers from the Northern Beaches are $20.00 per person - payable on the day of travel
  • Pick-up: 7:30am (from Cairns City Hotel or Hostel)
  • Departs: 8:30am
  • Returns 4:30pm
  • Duration: 2 days/1night
