PADI Open Water Course

Details

The 4 day Liveaboard option is designed for the traveler who is short of time and wants to learn to dive in 4 days and get the opportunity to spend the night on the reef.

On completion of your 4 certification dives, you will get the opportunity to do one 'fun dive' (time permitting). If you wish to do more dives immediately after your course and experience the thrill of a night dive, choose the 5 day option.

 

Itinerary

Day 1 : Pool and Theory
9.00am pick-up from your city accommodation // Classroom theory // Dive medical (if required) // Lunch (not included) // Dive equipment selection // Pool training 5.00pm return (approximately)
Meals :Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 2 : Pool and Theory
9.00am pickup from your city accommodation // Pool training // Lunch (not included) // Classroom theory // 5.00pm return (Approximately) // At some point in the first 2 days be required to swim 200m and tread water/float for 10 minutes.
Meals :Lunch

Day 3 : Two dives
07:30 pick up from your city accommodation // Transfer out to the reef aboard our day trip vessel // 2 training dives // Lunch // 14:30 transfer to our Liveaboard vessel // Study time // Dinner // Sharks in the Dark experience (pending conditions)

Day 4 : Three Dives
Breakfast // 2 more training dives Lunch (included) // Certification as Open Water diver // Fun Dive (time permitting) // 5.00pm return to your accommodation

Pickups / Departures

  • Return transfers from the Northern Beaches $60.00 Valid to 31st March 2020 - payable on the day of travel
  • Return transfers from the Northern Beaches $75.00 Valid from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 - payable on the day of travel

Departs:

Day 1:  Pickup 9.00am, brought to the shop

Day 2: Pickup 9.00am, brought to the shop

Day 3:  Pickup 7.30am, check-in at the boat 8.00am

Returns: 5.00pm, Days 1, 2 and 4
