Visiting three breathtaking sites daily, Calypso will provide you with an experience of a lifetime. Learn about marine life and eco-systems through our interpretive reef chat on board or take part in a guided snorkelling tour and surround yourself by the rainbow of brilliantly coloured fish and coral. Family owned and operated, Calypso provides day cruises from picturesque Port Douglas, located just 70 kilometers north of Cairns along a spectacular scenic costal drive. Catering for non-swimmers, first time snorkellers.

Itinerary:

7:00 to 8:20       

Transfer from your accommodation

8:20 to 8:45       

 Boarding commences at 8:20am at the Marina Mirage, Port Douglas.

As the Calypso crew welcome you aboard you will be fitted out with your own snorkelling equipment before relaxing with a tea/coffee and some cake.

8:45 to 10:20     

It is time to sit back and relax while we travel to our first site.

10:20 to 11:50   

First Site –  snorkellers enjoy informative briefing on how to snorkel safely.  After snorkellingat the first site morning tea is served.

11:50 to 1:50     

We then travel to our second breathtaking site (for snorkelling) where a guided snorkelling tour is available before a tropical buffet lunch is served.  After all that scrumptious food you can partake in a reef interpretive chat by one of our friendly crew.

1:50 to 3:10       

It is then off to our last site for another snorkel opportunity before enjoying afternoon tea.

3:10 to 4:30       

Cruise home returning at approximately 4:30pm.

Transfers back to your accommodation

Departs: Boarding at 8:40am for a 9:00am departure from the Marina Mirage, Port Douglas.

Returns: Approximately 4:30pm

Extra Costs:

An environmental Management Charge of AU$6.50pp is payable on board.

Due to fluctuating world oil prices it may be necessary to charge a fuel levy at the time of booking

Transfers within Port Douglas are FREE. From Palm Cove & Northen Beaches it is $36 return and from Cairns it is $40 return.
